The COVID-19 pandemic has served as an additional push to restrict civil liberties like free speech, free assembly, and free movement beyond what may be required in the interest of public health. Our Under the Mask project is creating space to share stories, resources, and ideas for change so that activists, journalists, and others can take action to preserve civic space.
